Horsley Herald Term 2 Week 5
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to the Term 2 Week 5 school newsletter.
Last week Horsley Park Public school students and teachers had the opportunity to reflect, learn and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, as part of National Reconciliation week.
Reconciliation Week is week - 27 May to 3 June. This year’s theme is Now More Than Ever.
NAIDOC Week is coming up soon, 7th to 14th July 2024.
Last year, to celebrate 'For Our Elders' students at Horsley Park PS participated in competition in creating and publishing a Cowpasture Network Book.
Tyler's entry was chosen to be used in the special book called 'Warami For Elders'.
Congratulations to all the students who took part in the Zone Cross Country last week. It was a beautiful sunny day, and all students ran with determination to achieve their personal best. It is fantastic to have so many students representing the school and displaying excellent sportsmanship and pride.
Thank you to Mrs Dalla for all your organisation and Mrs Olmos who drove the school bus and supported students on the day.
