Horsley Herald Term1 Week 5
Welcome to 2024, to another wonderful school year.
Dear Parents and Carers,
School Photos
We would like to remind you that our school photo day is fast approaching and will take place on Thursday, March 21st. It's an exciting opportunity for our students to capture cherished memories of their school year.
Please note that on this day, despite it being a sports day, all children are required to wear their full school uniform for the photos. This ensures equality and represents our school spirit in the best light.
For your convenience, further details on how to order school photos can be found in the school newsletter. Please take a moment to review the instructions provided. It's a simple process, and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to preserve your child's school memories.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding school photo day or the ordering process, please don't hesitate to contact the school office. We're here to assist you every step of the way.
Whole School Assemblies 2024
We want to inform you of an important update regarding our whole school assemblies at Horsley Park Public School.
Moving forward, our whole school assemblies will now be held under the COLA (Covered Outdoor Learning Area) every fortnight on Fridays at 2:30 pm. This decision was made after carefully considering parent feedback and to further encourage community participation and partnerships within our school.
By holding our assemblies on Fridays at 2:30 pm under the COLA, we aim to create a more inclusive and engaging environment where parents, carers, and the wider community can actively participate in our school events.
We believe that involving our community in school activities fosters stronger relationships and enhances the overall learning experience for our students. Your presence and support play a vital role in creating a positive and vibrant school culture.
As always, your feedback and suggestions are invaluable to us, and we welcome any thoughts you may have regarding our school assemblies or other aspects of school life.
We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming assemblies and continuing to work together to create a supportive and enriching environment for all members of our school community.
Thank you for your ongoing support.

Mikaela and Ayrton demonstrated exemplary dedication, skill, and sportsmanship as they represented our school with pride in their respective swimming events.
Please join me in extending our heartfelt congratulations to Mikaela and Ayrton for their remarkable achievements at the Horsley Zone PSSA Swimming Carnival. Their accomplishments are a source of immense pride for our school community, and they serve as shining examples of determination, perseverance, and excellence.
Let us continue to celebrate and support the achievements of our exceptional students as they continue to excel in both academic and extracurricular pursuits. Together, we can inspire greatness and foster a culture of excellence within our school community.
