Dear Parents and Carers,
As the end of the school year draws to a close I would like to acknowledge the fantastic efforts of Horsley Park Public School staff throughout 2023 in supporting our students and families.
Teachers and school support staff have worked hard to make a difference.
Each have been committed to ensuring every child is “known, valued and cared for” as part of the Department of Education’s goals.
A special thank you to all our families who have supported their children and our school throughout the year.
I am filled with gratitude for the incredible journey we have shared together in 2023.
It has been a year of growth, achievement, and collective success and I would like to extend my sincerest thank you to everyone within our school community.
2024 brings some new faces into our school.
We welcome Mr Eliaali who will be taking up the position of Relieving Assistant Principal Special Education. Mr Eliaali brings with him a wealth of experience, passion, and strong leadership skills that will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of our school community.
We welcome Mr Naidoo who will be taking up the position permanent Classroom Teacher Special Education. Mr Naidoo is a valuable addition to our teaching team, with a strong skill set, coupled with a passion for providing exceptional support to students with unique learning needs.
Important Dates for 2024
Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st January are pupil free days and only teachers will be at school.
Thursday 1st February, students in Years 1 and 6 return to school.
Monday 5th February Kindergaten students commence school.
I wish you a safe, relaxing and refreshing holiday break and look forward to continuing in our partnership next year.
