Thank you Morning Tea
On Tuesday 21st November we held a thank you morning tea for our amazing community volunteers, including scripture teachers, p and c and parents who have contributed their time to support our school through the year. A big thank you to you all.
The Healthy Harold Educational Program
The Healthy Harold van visited Horsley on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st of November, students participated in lessons about health, through this interactive and wonderful health education program that has been visiting schools for over 40 years now. Healthy Harold is the lovable giraffe and friendly advocate sharing the message of healthy lifestyle choices in a fun and enjoyable way. This year our school funded the program ensuring all of our students at Horsley particpated in this wonderful learning opportunity. Learning about healthy life choices is important and a highly valued skill for all.
Friday Sports Days Term 4
All students at Horsley Park PS enjoy participating in sport every Friday. Western Sydney Wanderers and Gecko Sport provide active sessions for all our students, learning lots of sport and physical skills. Our students enjoy Friday Sport and we are so proud of them all.

School Spectacular 2023
Horsley Park Public School students from our Support Unit, along with over 5000 students from across the state, have had a busy couple of weeks preparing and rehearsing for the Schools Spectacular performance which took place recently Friday 24th and Saturday 25th November at Qudos Bank Arena. This year the Schools Spectacular celebrated 40 years of Fabulous!
We are extremely proud of the students who took part in this year’s performance. Thank you to the Mrs Payer and all her wonderful organisation, as well as Miss Rose, Miss Martinez, Mrs Campbell, Mrs Olmos and Mrs Borg and the families who have made this wonderful experience possible for our students. We look forward to watching the telecast on Chanel 7 on Saturday the 9th December!

White Ribbon Day
Horsley students acknowledged the importance of White Ribbon Day on Friday 17th November. A huge thank you to all for supporting this day as students came to school wearing white, engaging in learning about respectful relationships and gold coin donations. Funds raised will be going to White Ribbon Australia. In addition, the student leaders and I supported the 'Every Step Counts Walk on Friday 17th November, we attended the annual combined school network event held at Terone Park, Bossley Park where 20 schools primary and high school gathered to support respectful relationships. It was a great day of participation that included parents and community members, and collaboration across our network of schools towards ending domestic violence. Student leaders tied white ribbons on their wrists in support of this important message.
