Remembrance Day Assembly 2023

Today students and staff at Horsley participated in a Remembrance Day Assembly to commemorate and acknowledge the significance of November the 11th. We pay our respects to all the service personell who gave up their lives while serving, whether in wars, conflicts or peacekeeping operations.

Tomorrow, Saturday 11th November, I will be joined by student leaders from Year 5 and 6 to respresent Horsley Park PS in the community at the Smithfield RSL Remembrance Day Service.

Kindergarten Enrolments 2024

Our school is taking enrolments for Kindergarten students for 2024. A child is eligible to start school if they turn five years old by 31 July 2024. All children must be attending school by their sixth birthday.

Horsley Public School's Early Endeavours Kindergarten Transition Program has already started this term. This is an opportunity for our 2024 Kindergarten students to become familiar with school and a chance for us to get to know them. Parents have the opportunity to stay at school during some of these times and participate in information sessions to assist a smooth transition into school.

This week parents were presented with information about the importance of attendance. Mrs Awad our Community Liaison Officer (CLO) provided information about the role of CLO at Horsley Park Public School.
