Horsley Herald Term 4 Week 3
Welcome Back to Term 4
It's been just three weeks since term 4 recommenced.
Parents and carers can access our official school facebook page where we share with our community amazing highligts and news of our students' remarkable learning, engagment and participation in educational opportunities and enriching experiences.
I am so proud of all our students as, they strive each and every day to be safe, respectful and active learners.
We look forward to a very busy and exciting term at Horsley Public School.
Kindergarten 2024
Our school is taking enrolments for Kindergarten students for 2024. A child is eligible to start school if they turn five years old by 31 July 2024. All children must be attending school by their sixth birthday.
Horsley Public School's Early Endeavours Kindergarten Transition Program has already started this term. This is an opportunity for our 2024 Kindergarten students to become familiar with school and a chance for us to get to know them. Parents have the opportunity to stay at school during some of these times and participate in information sessions to assist a smooth transition into school.
Please contact the school office on 96201301 for an enrolment form or online via the school website.

School Development Days for Staff
Every year staff attend school development days. School development days are used by schools to build on the knowledge and skills of our teachers, school leaders and school administrative support staff through a targeted professional learning program.
The dates of these days are determined by the department. In 2023, the dates set are 27 and 30 January, 24 April, 17 July and 18 and 19 December 2023.
Horsley Public School has swapped the 18 and 19 December dates for ongoing extended midweek staff meetings which were held in Terms 1, 2, 3 and 4 so the school will be non-operational on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 December 2023.
Parents and carers should not send their children to school, on school development days. These days are pupil free. The last day for students is Friday 15 December 2023.
