Horsley Herald Term 3 Week 5
Dear Parent/Carers,
Today is officially my last day relieving as your principal at Horsley Park PS, but I will be onsite until next Wednesday as we welcome Mrs Tanevski back from her leave.
A heartfelt thank you for welcoming me into your community and entrusting me with your children over the past 5 months. I have loved every minute of working at Horsley-engaging and working alongside you to ensure the success of your children’s learning and wellbeing. I will definitely cherish the positive interactions I have had with you and your children and all that I have learnt from the Horsley Park community.
Oh and what beautiful sentiments I received as a surprise today from your children. Cards from all classes with personal messages that I will treasure.
Lots has been happening here over the last fortnight, with our school getting behind the Matildas, like the rest of Australia, in their world cup quest. Although bowing out in the semis we have definitely enjoyed the buzz the team created around the school.
Thank you to all who came and spent time at school for our book parade and sausage sizzle hosted by the P & C. There were some great costumes from Kindergarten right through to year 6, many choosing characters from books read this year. It is always great to see our stage 3 students getting into the spirit for one final time.

We are excited to have received our brand new computers and literacy resources (that our students are already utilising). This was made possible by generous donations to the school from the P & C. Their fundraising efforts and your generous support of these fundraising activities have allowed these purchases and we are truly thankful.
