Horsley Herald Term 4 Week 10
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we conclude this year, I would like to extend a warm thank you to every single member of our school community and a special thank you to all those families that will be leaving us this year. To the teachers for their dedication, passion and enthusiasm in continually striving for excellence. To our students for their resilience, determination and flexibility as they have adapted to changes. To our parents who have worked alongside us and supported us as we navigated another challenging year . Thank you for your valuable contributions to Horsley Park Public School.
It is a pleasure working with every one of you, instilling a love of learning and inspiring our students to achieve their goals.
Over the last week we have celebrated the achievements of our students and farewelled our graduating class of 2022. Everyone should be proud of their achievements this year. From reading all the reports it was clear that the students have worked extremely hard to achieve their goals. The challenges around COVID-19 this year has been difficult and students have strived to attend school this year over 90% of the time, however I am really looking forward to seeing what we can all achieve together next year.
I would like to farewell some of our staff members who will be leaving Horsley Park PS to take on new opportunities in the new year. Mrs Taing who will be taking up an Assistant Principal Curriculum & Instruction role at Bonnyrigg PS. Miss Nguyen and Mrs Siddiqa are moving on to new schools. Mrs Lewer will be taking leave next year to spend time with her family. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to the students here at Horsley Park PS.
