Horsley Herald Term 2 Week 4 2021
Dear parents and carers
NAPLAN
Congratulations to our Year 3 and Year 5 students who participated in NAPLAN this
week as part of the National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) test. Their attitude has been very sensible, we are so proud to see our Horsley Park PS students conduct themselves with such maturity and resilience. Students used their headphones for various aspects of the assessments. The assessments are an opportunity for students to demonstrate what they have learned in class. Teachers use these results to meet the individual literacy and numeracy needs of all students.
The four tests cover language conventions (spelling, punctuation and grammar) and writing, reading and numeracy. If students were absent, they have the ability to make up the test on Tuesday 18th May or before Friday, 21 May.
If you have any further questions about NAPLAN Online, please contact your child’s teacher.
