All teachers have been proud of the students’ resilience in adapting to changes in school routine,
particularly our Kindergarten students who were only weeks into their first year of
school back in March when Learning from Home commenced.
We are proud of all
students for making the transition back to face-to-face learning during the last weeks of
Term 2. Horsley Park PS staff wish all students and their families an enjoyable term break.
AECG Student Leaders
A huge congratulations to our student AECG leaders, Elizabeth, Mikayla, Karlie, Brodie and Izabella who represented Horsley Park PS particpating in the Cowpasture Community of Schools AECG student leadership zoom meeting on Wednesday 1st July. Staffing Changes Term 3
We were able to farewell Mrs Basak who has been a teacher at Horsley Park for twelve years, thanking her for significant impact to students and community during our first school assembly this term which consisted of only teachers and students. Next term, Mrs Rositano will continue to work with the Horsley Park PS staff and students. Mrs Rositano is an experienced and well known teacher to the school community who will ensure teaching and learning programs will continue seamlessly at Horsley Park PS. Thank you Mrs Basak and welcome Mrs Rositano. Mr Obeid returns back in Term 3 to teach K1O and I would like to thank Mrs Rositano for teaching K1O whilst Mr Obeid has been on leave.
