Horsley Herald Term 2 Week 8
Professional Learning & Planning
As we move towards the end of Term 2 our teachers have been and will continue to work collabortively to plan for Term 3.
This term has presented many challenges and I am very proud of the way staff have continued to work incredibly hard, ensuring our students are always at the centre of their work.
In order for our teachers to work together to collaboratively plan for teaching, learning and assessing for Term 3, at times teachers will have time away from face-to-face teaching. This time is criticial as it allows teachers to engage in deep planning, and consider the learning needs of their students. In week 10, all our teachers will be spending time planning together in prepartion for Term 3.
The best ideas are generated when teachers work together.
This week all our teachers will be engaging in professional learning and enhancing their understanding in Science, Technology, English, and Mathematics (STEM). Mrs Basak and Mrs Borg will be sharing best practice and facilitating professional learning in the integration of technology.
Farewell Marcus & Emily
Horsley Park PS would like to wish Marcus & Emily a bright future as they leave us to attend their new school. May you be successful and happy in life.

Building Work
As I am sure you are all aware our school has undergone several building projects in recent months.
I am delighted to announce that building work has now been completed. This is a great step forward to having better facilities including a
disabled toilet and access ramp to the school hall to accommodate for the needs of all our students. The new playground equipment is also in installed and ready for use once restrictions are lifted. Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this period.
